Hey I’m Alex AKA DJ Couch!
Music has always been a big part of my life ever since I was a kid living upstairs of a live music pub that my mum used to run. I remember bands and DJ’s coming in every weekend to show off their talent and I guess that’s where the seed was planted.
At the age of 14 I got myself my first set of Kam vinyl turntables and a mixer and started collecting a vast collection of Drum & Bass records and learning how to mix the old skool way. Drum & Bass was a big part of my life at that time.
Fast forward 20+ years and I’m well and truly into the digital age of DJing, but now my passion is for House music and all the sub genres it carries. You can catch me out performing at local bars, clubs, festivals & I also cover many private events, all around Herts, Beds & Bucks. Check out my socials to see where I’m at.
My show on Mix3r Radio is all about the music I enjoy. It might be old, it might be new, it might be techy or a bit cheesy, but it’s whatever makes me feel good. I love a vocal, I love a remix and something that generally brings everyone together.
