DJ Shaggy aka Shailet Patel; born and bred in Leicester, grown up listening to drum and bass from the heydays of early acid house. Dabbled in production and DJing back in the day. Had a show for 2 years on KoolFM midlands and played a number of clubs in Birmingham including a short residency with Ministry of Sound when they held DnB nights! During this time in Birmingham I was one of the founding members of ProSession which was a highly rated DnB event in Birmingham and played alongside artists such as Roni Size, DJ Die, Nicky Blackmarket and Ray Keith to name a few. I am lover of all genre’s of electronic music and also do sets of non DNB but something about DNB just keeps me coming back to it!
After taking some time away from DJing and Producing got back in the hot seat a number of years ago and started publishing tunes and mixes to share the love of DnB with fellow bass heads!
